This Privacy Policy explains how LotPulse, operated by AI Business Solutions LLC d/b/a LotPulse ("LotPulse," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LotPulse "Watch this car" service on a participating automotive dealership's website (the "Service").
Information we collect
When you tap "Watch this car" and sign up, we collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- The specific vehicle(s) you choose to watch (such as the VIN, make, model, and price)
- Your interactions with our text messages (for example, whether you opened a link or replied STOP)
- Basic technical information from the dealership web page where you signed up
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send you the text alerts you requested — confirmation that you're watching a vehicle, price-drop notifications, demand updates, sold notices, and notices when a similar vehicle (same make and model) arrives at that dealership
- Share your inquiry with the dealership whose vehicle you chose to watch, so they can assist you
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the vehicles you watch and their pricing activity. You will typically receive a confirmation message when you start watching a vehicle, and occasional messages thereafter when there is a relevant update (such as a price change, a sold notice, or the arrival of a similar vehicle). If you opted in to similar-vehicle notices, you will receive at most one such message in any 48-hour period, and these notices stop 60 days after a watched vehicle sells. Message and data rates may apply.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the Service:
- With the dealership whose vehicle you chose to watch, so they can follow up with you about that vehicle. By watching a vehicle, you are expressing interest to that dealership.
- With service providers who help us operate (for example, our SMS delivery provider and hosting provider), who are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LotPulse, our users, or others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages, unless you sign up again.
- Get help by replying HELP, or by contacting us at the email below.
- You may request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. If you opt out, we retain a record of your opt-out so we can honor it.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
